Commissioned in 1967 the foundation of the Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Garden was originally laid in 1957. Along with the other regional Aga Khan Hospitals like Kharadar and Karimabad, AKH Garden was integrated in 2010 with the main campus at AKUH under a greater vision to extend the main campus’ services to different parts of the city. Located near the Mazar-e-Quaid (Jinnah Mausoleum) in Garden East, Karachi, the hospital is divided into two buildings opposite each other, the Main Hospital Building and the Diagnostic Centre. Between both of them, the hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services.
